Why I'm Starting This Blog

With all the emails, facebook entries, blogs, etc. out there encouraging Christians to "humble themselves, pray, and turn from their wicked ways," it has become apparent that there is a need for a day when Christians are encouraged to pray collectively, publicly, and nationally in this manner. Of course, as with all things, where someone recognizes a need, they find themselves with a burden to fill that need. After arguing with God for a few weeks, I realized that if I didn't make an attempt to meet this need, I would be in disobedience to the Lord's prompting.

Here is my obedience. I trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest. May Christians throughout America also recognize the need and join together in prayer.
